The Lighthouse Montessori School has designed Montessori Apparatus Practical Training - For Teachers In Montessori system of education the child learns directly by his/her interaction with the specialized Montessori apparatus. The classroom is also designed in such a way to promote independence, concentration and holistic development of the child.
As opposed to traditional method of education which consists of the Teacher and the Student, the Montessori Method involves a third factor – the Prepared Environment.
While introducing the apparatus to the children, the teacher plays the role of the guide or facilitator and puts the children on the path of learning and development. Thus, the Montessori teacher requires full knowledge of the apparatus and specialized training in presentation of these apparatus, observation and evaluation.
Each participant has to make sure that they follow Government Guidelines for COVID 19 issued from time to time with respect to wearing masks, gloves, hand sanitizing and maintaining physical distance.

TLMS is a new venture set up in 2020 in order to impart genuine Montessori based education to the children of age groups 2.5 years to 6 years. The classroom settings, apparatus and the methodology are all based on Montessori principles.
